I promised you (well, not really but I know you´re waiting for it) to be writing about the day of my entrance exam. Just thinking about it makes me frustrated again, but I gotta go through it now.
In the morning, I had my breakfast at the hotel, but it was simply too early for me to really enjoy eating, it was a big struggle for me. Then I changed clothes and got ready and walked to the uni, registered for the entrance exam and waited and waited…just to take a test that was a big epic fail.
Worst thing ever about this intelligence test was that 1/3 of it consisted of “please continue this row of numbers” questions, and that´s something my brain just isn´t willing to understand properly. I was really frustrated and I was mentally already packing my bags. Before getting the results, I was out to have a tea with one girl I had met before the exam, to spend time and not sit around at the uni.
In the end I was scheduled to have my interview in the late afternoon, the entrance exam had been at 8.30am, the results were out at 11am and my interview was at 5.40PM. Spent the time with a few other lovely girls and had really fun time. My interview then, itself, felt quite sucky from my side actually. I really hadn´t been satisfied and still ain´t. It´s the times where you cannot blame it on anyone else but yourself. And it really hit me hard, my mood was really low. Bought some food on the way back to the hotel and then locked myself up there, unwilling to face any human being anymore on this day.
I am mainly disappointed with myself, knowing that I could´ve done better – somehow. How exactly, I have no idea. Maybe I am just not used to the feeling of failing anymore. Been flying high above during the past two years.
In the end I can just say: I met lovely new people and it´s been an experience, even though I really fear it´s just not gonna be enough to be accepted. In 2-3 weeks I´ll know more…
