New terrain // Neues Terrain

You might be surprised now – a baby photo with the tag of my name on it. No, I have not been stealing it from some page – I took it.

Yesterday, I was entering unknown terrain when it comes to photography – humans. And in this case, a baby. I had expected it to be a real challenge, but I was having surprisingly much fun and it was not as complicated as expected, even though getting the best light was a struggle for me.

In the end, this is one of the many cute photos of this little man – and yes, I am kinda proud of it, because I feel like I did a good job. A little ego boost for my weak photographer ego – and I will need this as much is coming up when it comes to ski jumping and concerts. Not everything is confirmed yet, not everything is requested yet, but I am on a good road with all of this.

So, this was a little heads up for you, so that you know what I have been up to on the weekend.

Ihr mögt jetzt überrascht sein – ein Baby-Foto mit meinem Schriftzug drauf. Nein, ich habe das Foto nicht von irgendeiner Seite geklaut – ich habe es selbst gemacht.

Gestern habe ich unbekanntes Terrain betreten wenn es um Fotografie geht – Menschen. Und dann gleich noch ein Baby in diesem Fall. Ich hatte erwartet, dass es eine riesengroße Herausforderung sein würde, aber es hat mir überraschenderweise wirklich sehr viel Spaß gemacht und war nicht so schlimm wie ich erwartet hatte, auch wenn es wirklich schwer war, das beste Licht für das Ganze zu finden.

Am Ende des Tages ist dies nur eines von vielen süßen Fotos des kleinen Mannes – und ja, ich bin schon irgendwie stolz darauf, weil ich denke, dass ich einen guten Job gemacht habe. Ein kleiner Ego-Boost für mein schwaches Fotografen-Selbstvertrauen – und das werde ich wirklich brauchen, denn es kommt so einiges auf mich zu wenn es um Skispringen und Konzerte geht. Es ist noch nicht alles bestätigt, noch nicht alles angefragt, aber ich gehe in die richtige Richtung mit all dem.

So, das war ein kleines Update darüber, was ich so an diesem Wochenende fabriziert habe.
